Annonce complèteENGINEERING MANAGER Location: Remote - Europe (CET ±2 hours) ABOUT FULLENRICH: Every go-to-market motion runs on data, but no single provider has ever had complete coverage. We solve that problem: instead of relying on a single data source, we orchestrate 20+ premium providers around the world, automatically querying them and verifying data in real-time until we find the best available contact information. The result is industry-leading coverage and data quality, helping sales and GTM teams connect with the right people faster. What started as a better way to find emails and phone numbers has grown into a broader vision: becoming the trusted GTM data infrastructure layer powering modern revenue teams and AI agents. Today, more than 6,000 customers, including companies like AWS, Deel, HubSpot, Clay, Intercom, Unify, and Artisan, trust us to power their prospecting and enrichment. Founded in Paris and now headquartered in San Francisco, we're a team of 50+ people across the US, Europe, LATAM, and Israel, growing quickly and building with speed, ownership, and ambition. That's where you come in. THE ROLE: You'll be joining as an Engineering Manager, reporting directly to our VP of Engineering. As FullEnrich continues to grow, we're investing in the engineering leadership and structure needed to support our next stage of growth. We're looking for someone who combines strong people leadership with technical depth, and who enjoys building high-performing teams, improving how engineers work, and creating the foundations for sustainable growth. You'll initially lead a multidisciplinary team of up to ten engineers across backend, frontend, and data, taking ownership of their development, performance, and delivery. Working closely with Product Managers and engineering leadership, you'll help translate business priorities into achievable engineering objectives, ensuring teams have the clarity, support, and processes they need to deliver great work. This is an opportunity to have a real impact on how our engineering organization evolves. As we scale toward 25 engineers, you'll help shape our squad structure, establish effective ways of working, and build an environment where engineers can grow and do their best work. You'll work closely with the VP of Engineering, CTO, and other Engineering Managers, with the autonomy to influence decisions and drive meaningful improvements across the organization. WHAT YOU'LL DO: People Leadership & Development - Lead, coach, and develop engineers through regular 1:1s, performance management, feedback, and career development. - Build a supportive, high-performing team environment where engineers have clear expectations, opportunities to grow, and the autonomy to do their best work. - Take ownership of team health, engagement, and retention, proactively identifying and addressing challenges. Hiring & Team Growth - Own the engineering side of hiring for your squads, including defining requirements, setting assessment criteria, interviewing, and making hiring decisions. - Develop effective onboarding processes that help new engineers become productive and autonomous quickly. - Partner with engineering leadership to shape team structure, squad ownership, and hiring priorities as the organization scales. Engineering Delivery & Execution - Partner with Product Managers to translate product and business priorities into clear engineering objectives, realistic roadmaps, and measurable outcomes. - Own engineering delivery across your squads, ensuring work is appropriately scoped, estimated, and delivered with clear accountability. - Identify and manage delivery risks, technical dependencies, and competing priorities, keeping stakeholders informed and addressing blockers early. Engineering Processes & Continuous Improvement - Own and continuously improve how your squads operate, using our Discovery → Run lifecycle, inspired by Shape Up, and DORA metrics to measure delivery effectiveness. - Establish practical, scalable ways of working that improve predictability, collaboration, and engineering quality without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy. - Collaborate with other Engineering Managers and the VP of Engineering to evaluate and improve engineering processes across the wider organization. Technical Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration - Provide technical guidance on architectural decisions, engineering trade-offs, and complex delivery challenges, ensuring teams make well-informed decisions. - Work closely with Product, Design, Support, Sales, and leadership to align engineering priorities with business needs. - Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly, creating transparency and trust across teams and stakeholders. Our Tech Stack Our backend is built in Go (Golang), with Svelte on the frontend, PostgreSQL and OpenSearch for data, and DigitalOcean for cloud infrastructure. We use Docker, GitHub Actions, and Grafana to support deployment, automation, and observability, with a modular hexagonal monolith architecture. You won't need to be hands-on with every technology, but you'll bring the technical understanding to challenge architectural decisions, navigate trade-offs, and support your engineers in solving complex problems. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE: By 3 months - You've built a strong understanding of our product, technology, engineering processes, and business objectives, establishing trusted relationships with your engineers and key stakeholders. - You've taken ownership of people management across your squads, with regular 1:1s, clear expectations, and an understanding of each engineer's strengths and development needs. - You've assessed current delivery practices, team structure, and performance, identifying opportunities to improve collaboration, predictability, and team effectiveness. By 6 months - Your squads are operating with clear objectives, defined ownership, and measurable KPIs aligned with product and business priorities. - You've established effective delivery practices, with more predictable planning, proactive risk management, and improved visibility for stakeholders. - You've identified team capability gaps and are actively contributing to hiring, onboarding, and the development of engineers across your squads. - You're contributing meaningful improvements to engineering processes and organizational structure alongside the wider engineering management team. By 12 months - Your squads consistently deliver against realistic, well-defined roadmaps, with clear accountability, effective collaboration, and measurable improvements in delivery performance. - Engineers have clear development paths, receive regular feedback, and feel supported in their growth, contributing to strong engagement and retention. - New engineers are onboarding efficiently and becoming productive quickly, supported by established processes and a clear engineering hiring bar. - You've helped shape a scalable engineering organization with well-defined squad ownership, effective ways of working, and stronger alignment between Engineering, Product, and the wider business. - Stakeholders have confidence in engineering delivery, with transparent communication, reliable planning, and fewer unexpected blockers. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: - Proven experience directly managing and developing software engineers, ideally eight or more across multiple teams, within a growing engineering organization. - Demonstrated experience building or scaling engineering teams, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and supporting engineers' career development. - A strong software engineering background with solid architectural fundamentals, enabling you to challenge technical decisions, understand trade-offs, and provide credible guidance. - Experience owning engineering delivery, translating product and business objectives into actionable plans, managing dependencies, and driving measurable outcomes. - A data-driven approach to engineering management, with experience using delivery metrics and team performance insights to identify and implement improvements. - The ability to establish effective engineering processes and ways of working that improve team performance without introducing unnecessary complexity. - Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the confidence to create structure, navigate ambiguity, and influence decisions in a scaling environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with experience collaborating effectively across distributed teams and cross-functional stakeholders. NICE TO HAVES - Experience working with Go (Golang) or managing teams building Go-based applications. - Familiarity with Shape Up or similar appetite-driven development methodologies. - Experience using DORA metrics to measure and improve engineering delivery. - Knowledge of Team Topologies and experience shaping squad structures as engineering teams scale. - Experience scaling an engineering organization from approximately 10 to 25 engineers. - Background in B2B SaaS, data-intensive products, or API-first platforms. THE HIRING PROCESS: - Introduction to FullEnrich with our Talent Team (30 mins) - A chance to learn more about you, introduce FullEnrich and the role, and explore whether there's a mutual fit. - Interview with the Hiring Manager (45 mins) - A chance for you to meet our VP of Engineering and walk through your background, the teams you've led, what you've built and broken along the way. - Engineering management case study (60 mins) - A practical session grounded in a real situation: a hiring decision, a delivery slipping, a process that isn't being followed, a performance conversation. - Final Interview with our CEO (45 min) – A chance for you to meet our CEO, Ben and have a conversation around FullEnrich's ambitions, how we work and what we're building together. BENEFITS: Your benefits package will reflect the requirements and market practices of the country in which you're employed, including applicable leave, healthcare, retirement and wellbeing benefits. Full details will be shared during the hiring process. FullEnrich is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
